On the evening of December 19th, photographer Marc Yang delivered an excellent seminar to the SCoP audience. By reviewing his past works, "Mekong River", "Eastern Time Zone", "Kurds", "Soul of River", "Real North Korea" and other series, Mr Yang described his photography experience in foreign countries.
He began taking photos in 2012, and from 2012 to 2019 he travelled around the globe, mostly in the Middle East. But his works are different from traditional travel photos. It depicts the reality of local daily life through local people's perspective, which is achieved by him assimilating to the local culture.
